Aftercare is crucial for optimal results:
- Gently cleanse the treated area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser. Avoid using any makeup removers or products that contain acids.
- For the first few days, keep the area dry and avoid getting it wet. This includes avoiding swimming, sauna, and excessive sweating.
- Avoid touching, scratching, or picking at the treated area to prevent irritation or infection.
- Cool the area 2 a day.
- Avoid sun exposure and swimming for the first 2 weeks.
- Protect the treated area from direct sunlight. Wear a wide-brimmed hat or use a physical sunscreen once healed, as sun exposure can fade the pigments.
- Avoid exfoliating products, scrubs, or procedures (like chemical peels) in the area for at least 4-6 weeks post-treatment, as they can cause fading and irritation.
- Minimize strenuous activities and excessive sweating for the first week to allow the area to heal properly.
- Keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms such as excessive redness, swelling, or discharge. If you notice any signs of infection, contact your technician or a healthcare provider immediately.
- Schedule any recommended follow-up or touch-up appointments as advised by your technician, usually 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.

Ensure the area of skin that we are going to laser has nothing on it, we will shave it for you, or you can shave it prior to attending. We ask you to not apply fake tan to the area or anything that can block the treatment.
Yes, you can remove old ink from scarred skin. It is often the case after someone has been poorly tattooed, maybe where the tattoo artist has gone too deep into the skin during the session or overworked the skin. However, tattoo removal will not remove the scars from the skin, other treatments are available to help resurface the skin
